**** A PICNIC ****

                                 A  PICINC    

                                

                          Every year our school friends go on a picnic. Last year too we arranged a three day trip to the North Central Province. The  pupils in the upper Class participated this journey. It is an Educational tour.     

                           It was five O' clock in the morning when we set out. We reached Dambulla and visit the Dmbulu viharaya. while we were  travelling some of our friends sang a songs in order to drive away the loneliness of the journey. We visited the Sigiriya Rock and after that we had our lunch there. At five O'clock we reached Anuradhapura. We spent the night there. 

                           The whole day of the second day we spent visiting the important place in the holy city. The third day we went to Wilpaththu. There we saw the wild animals freely moving about in the forest. We spent about two hours there. After that we reached Puttalam and had our lunch. We roamed in the chilaw Town. It was a pleasant evening. The gentle breezes were blowing. We reached Colombo Via Negombo.            

                               Actually  it was a very good educational tour because we enjoyed and learnt a lot.
